Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University has extended the deadline for online registration for admission to various postgraduate and professional courses offered at the university campuses and affiliated colleges and institutes for the academic session 2026-27. According to the revised admission circular issued by the university administration, candidates will now be able to register online until 11:55 pm on August 7, 2026.
According to the information released by the university, this extension will apply to all eligible candidates appearing for the University Entrance Test (UET) 2026. Candidates who have not yet registered must complete the application process through the SAMARTH admission portal within the stipulated deadline. The university has clarified that no applications received after the deadline will be considered, so all candidates should complete their admission process in a timely manner.
According to the university, this admission process will include admissions to various postgraduate courses, including B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed., LLB, L.L.M., and various postgraduate diploma courses. Candidates will be required to select a university campus or affiliated college/institute and the relevant course based on their interests and eligibility.
To ensure a smooth and transparent admission process, the university has issued important instructions to candidates. The university has stated that before starting online registration, all candidates must verify their registered email ID by clicking on the “Account Verification Code” option available on the portal. After email verification, candidates will be able to log in to the portal using their registered email ID as their username and their UET-2026 roll number and year of birth as their password.
The university administration has urged candidates to carefully enter all information when filling out the application form and upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
