Religion Became a Point of Difference
During the podcast, Himanshi discussed the differences in their faith and said religion eventually became one of the reasons behind their breakup. Her remarks drew a strong response from Asim, who denied that he had ever pressured her to change her religion.
Taking to X, Asim claimed that Himanshi had contacted him months after their separation and wanted to give their relationship another chance. He said he still had their messages and screenshots and could share them publicly if required.
Himanshi Says She Has Evidence Too
Responding to Asim, Himanshi said she had also preserved evidence related to the matter. She clarified that she had never used the term “forceful conversion” and said that the narrative had been created by people and sections of the media.
She also objected to comments about her health, saying she had always spoken about her personal journey respectfully. According to Himanshi, discussing someone’s health struggles publicly crosses a line and should not be used to discredit them.
Claims of CCTV Footage and Recordings
Himanshi further said she was prepared to share evidence, including CCTV footage and recordings, related to the conversion issue and what she described as an incident of violence. She added that she would no longer remain silent if she felt her image was being deliberately tarnished.
