The annual Kainchi fair is being held on June 15th at Kainchi Dham, the sacred shrine of the world-famous Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj, located in the Bhawali area of Nainital. This day is celebrated as the foundation day of Kainchi Dham. It is said that Baba Neem Karoli Maharaj inaugurated this holy ashram on June 15th, 1964.
Kainchi Dham is considered a major center of faith, devotion, and service, attracting a large number of devotees every year. Thousands of devotees from India and abroad are expected to arrive this year as well. During the fair, devotees seek Baba’s blessings and participate in devotional worship.

The administration and temple committee have made special arrangements for the convenience and safety of devotees for this world-famous fair, scheduled to be held on June 15th, 2026. To manage the crowd, 120 shuttle buses have been arranged, which will operate from Haldwani, Kathgodam, and other designated parking areas. To control the crowd, the movement of private vehicles will be restricted on the Kainchi Dham route. A green corridor will also be created for the smooth operation of emergency services.

Additional police forces, volunteers, and CCTV surveillance will be deployed to strengthen security. According to the administration, approximately 2.5 lakh devotees are expected to attend the fair this year, so devotees have been urged to arrive early and follow the guidelines issued by the administration.
