Vishal Chaturvedi’s Hanuman Ansh has crossed the ₹400-crore worldwide gross mark, and in the process, set another record for spiritual drama films. The film achieved the feat after 52 days in the theatres, grossing ₹9 crore in India on Sunday, September 27. As per data reported by India Today and NDTV, the film’s India net collection stood at ₹307 crore, whereas its India Gross and Worldwide Gross stood at ₹362.7 crore and ₹401.2 crore, respectively.
Hanuman Ansh’s eighth weekend saw another massive influx of viewers. After garnering ₹3.35 crore on Friday and ₹6.50 crore on Saturday, the film registered ₹9 crore on Sunday. The figure came with 46% occupancy across 4,387 screens. The film’s worldwide gross then crossed the ₹400-crore mark, and in the process, saw off competition from newer releases, despite being in the theatres for over seven weeks.

The ₹400-crore worldwide gross, however, was not registered on the eighth Monday, i.e., September 28. The eighth Sunday, or day 52 since its release, marked the film’s latest milestone. On Monday, September 28, Hanuman Ansh entered day 53 and saw off a dip in collections. As per data reported by India Today, quoting Sacnilk, the film grossed ₹2.35 crore in India on Monday. The figure pushed the film’s India Nett collection to ₹309.38 crore and Worldwide Gross to ₹404.25 crore
Meanwhile, Times of India reported a lower early/final figure of ₹1.97 crore nett for the film on Monday, September 28. Such discrepancies in figures are common in trade tracking, depending on the timing of updates.
Directed and written by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh stars Shobhinaw Satyaa as Lakshmi Narayan, who eventually evolves into the spiritual leader Neem Karoli Baba. As per data reported by India Today, Hanuman Ansh started slow in terms of collections but saw a steady rise in viewership due to word of mouth. Its India Nett collection stood at ₹304.85 crore as of the end of its seventh week. With the film’s latest ₹400-crore plus worldwide gross figure, it has crossed several other benchmarks in its run at the box office.
