Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University has initiated the admission process for undergraduate courses for the 2026-27 academic session. Students who appeared for CUET-UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency, can register online via the university’s Samarth portal until the night of July 21.
The admission process has begun at Garhwal Central University. Admissions to various undergraduate programs offered at the colleges, as well as Integrated MBA, BA-LLB, Folk Dance Diploma, and Folk Music Diploma programs, will also be conducted through this process. Garhwal University’s Dean of Student Welfare, Professor OPS Gusain, says that as part of the admission process, candidates have been advised to inquire about course availability and eligibility at the respective college before applying.
Appeal for regular review of website and Samarth portal

Also, instructions have been given to fill the online application form carefully, upload all the necessary documents within the stipulated period and deposit the registration fee. The University has appealed to the candidates to keep visiting the University website and Samarth portal regularly for all admission related information.
He also said that the candidates should upload all the required documents online within the stipulated time period and ensure to deposit the registration fee on time. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will be considered as per the university rules.
