Motorcycle Assailants Open Fire on Tiger Shroff’s Car in Juhu; Actor Safe, Driver Hurt...

A shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff’s car on Sunday evening has caused a stir. Near Pushpa Park in Juhu, assailants on a motorcycle targeted the actor’s vehicle, opened fire, and fled the scene.
Tiger Shroff remained unharmed during the incident, while two others including his driver sustained injuries. As of the time of writing, one suspect has been arrested from the Santacruz area. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mohit Garg, Tiger Shroff was returning home with his driver after playing football when the attack occurred.

Assailants on a motorcycle approached his car and opened fire. While Shroff was unhurt, his driver, Firdous, and another individual, Chavan, sustained injuries. Both are currently undergoing treatment at the nearby Nanavati Hospital and are reported to be out of danger.

According to the police, the three assailants all wearing white shirts fled toward SV Road and Vile Parle railway station. Seven rounds were fired at the actor’s car; the incident took place approximately 350 meters from the Juhu Police Station and Pushpa Park.

The driver, Firdous, was struck in his left arm and taken to Nanavati Hospital. Another person, Umesh Chavan (35), who was standing nearby, was also hit by gunfire and has been admitted to Cooper Hospital. While the police initially suggested that Shroff might have sustained minor scratches from shattered glass, DCP (West Zone 2) Mohit Garg later clarified that the actor did not suffer any injuries.

The police are in the process of registering an FIR and are questioning Shroff to determine whether he had recently received any threatening calls or warnings.

Fifteen teams have been formed to track down the assailants. Officers from the Juhu Police and the Mumbai Crime Branch are currently examining CCTV footage to identify the attackers and trace their escape route. The police are also investigating a claim made on social media, allegedly by individuals named Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu. In this post, they have claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging that Shroff was targeted due to his association or professional work with Salman Khan.

The post also contains threats directed at other members of the Mumbai film industry who have worked with Salman Khan. There are rumors suggesting a link between Pandit and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, though the police have not yet confirmed this.

According to DCP Garg, the attackers fired three shots. Immediately after his driver, Firdous, was struck, Tiger Shroff reportedly moved him to the passenger seat and drove the vehicle himself to Nanavati Hospital. The actor’s father, Jackie Shroff, has confirmed that his son is safe.
Given the gravity of the incident, senior officers, alongside the Juhu police, are actively involved in the investigation. Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Manoj Sharma also arrived at the scene. According to some news reports, 15 police teams have been formed to track down the suspects.

The police are examining footage from CCTV cameras installed at the scene and in the surrounding areas. Additionally, they are questioning eyewitnesses to gather details regarding the attackers’ descriptions, their escape routes, and the motorcycles used in the incident.

Following the shooting, individuals allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the attack. Reports identify these individuals as Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu.

An alleged online message, purportedly issued by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, expresses displeasure over Tiger Shroff’s work with Salman Khan and claims that a prior warning had been issued. The message also contains threats against other individuals in the Hindi film industry who have worked with Salman Khan
