On Sunday evening, October 18th, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff was returned to his car after a football match when three bike-borne assailants fired approximately 4-5 rounds at him. Tiger narrowly escaped the attack, but his driver/security guard was injured. Following the indiscriminate firing on the Bollywood actor’s car, superstar Salman Khan has received a new death threat. Anil Pandit, an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the attack on social media and released a threatening audio clip, in which he directly calls for targeting Salman Khan and his family.

The viral audio threatens, “Salman Khan, if you don’t apologize to my elder brother Lawrence Bishnoi or the Bishnoi community, we won’t leave even a dog in your house. We will destroy your entire family.” The threat also warned Salman Khan not to believe that the police or Y-plus security will protect him.
Anil Pandit claimed that Tiger Shroff was attacked because of his closeness to Salman Khan. He warned that anyone in Bollywood who works with or is close to Salman Khan will face the same fate.

Following this, security has been tightened outside Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has formed more than 15 teams to solve the case and search for the attackers. The Mumbai Police is currently investigating the veracity and authenticity of the Facebook post and alleged audio clip circulating in the name of Anil Pandit.
